After meeting a Milliner at a show, and persuading her to offer Lucy a week’s course, Lucy was well and truly hooked on the art of Millinery. Subsequently Lucy spent much of her spare time in school holidays, on her Gap Year, University Summer’s and whilst living in London for four years, attending internships, courses and completing work experience with different Milliner’s to gain experience.

After moving to Rutland in 2020, Lucy set up her label and her business started taking off, so much so that after a year of juggling, she was able to quite her marketing job and pursue Millinery full time. Now working from her studio in rural North Wales, Lucy creates all her pieces by hand, using traditional techniques and hand sewing, and her aim is to encourage more people to have the confidence to wear hats.
